General description
- The Head of COMMs in our company is our most creative person able to be on the ground when talking to management about budget and strategy and in the sky when leading campaigns internally and externally. The aim is always clear - to achieve positive associations with and visibility of T-Systems Slovakia – the second largest employer in the region with almost 4000 dedicated colleagues.
- This person is the chief brand ambassador communicating with media, NGOs, external parties, stakeholders & TSSK staff in what we call “Magenta Kosice”. As a spokesperson, the person needs to be magenta positive as an influencer when talking to the external market and at the same time to colleagues over a coffee. She/he builds trust and awareness of the brand/promoting brand reputation and recognition.
- The Head of COMMs is in a strong team of creative professionals that she/he provides direct leadership to, enables smooth event & campaign realization that is in budget he/she owns. In that course, she/he develops team members to be able to deliver the best they can and to work to maximize the satisfaction of the rest of the company. The person creates and aligns the communication strategy as a permanent member of the Board of Management. Based on that alignment, the Head of COMMs works across to the organization on specific activities to achieve the stated goals.
- CSR is important to T-Systems Slovakia, and on top of the list of activities she/he is involved in, always trying their best to spread the news internally and externally.
- Head of COMMs is a person who is ready to take a lead during the meetings as a facilitator as well as moderator. Preparing and moderating meetings and events is something you thrive on.
- As a member of board of management, Head of COMMs is liaising with senior management team with the aim to understand the business needs and to find the best way on how to support them from communication perspective. The person also establishes and maintains relationships with other counterparts, clients and other stakeholders for effective communication.
- Head of COMMs is seeking new trends and implements them to the company’s processes, events and activities.
- When it comes to crisis situations, she/he steers and cooperates together with different stakeholders to provide smooth communication.

- Deliver services/solutions to clients in agreed quality and quantity structure according agreed contracts (OLA, SLA, SA, DA…) and internal KPI.
- Establish and maintain relationships with counterparts/clients and other stakeholders for effective communication.
- Lead and develop people in own team to be able to deliver agreed quality and maintain satisfaction of employees.
- Continuously improve services in own area, propose improvements in related areas and implement improvements initiatives.
- Provide inputs into financial plans and effectively manage business and resources of own team in order to meet financial budget.
- Operationally manage critical situations and solve business-as-usual escalations to provide seamless operation and effective service to clients.
- Deliver all people-related regulatory topics (labor code, internal rules & guidelines).

Job specific accountabilities
- Creates and propose communication strategy to Board of Directors with specific activities how to achieve it, once agreed then coordinates execution of those activities
- Collect and provide feedback on terms and conditions of contracts.
- Implements and executes event policy of TSSK
- Act as spokesperson for TSSK

Requirements for the employee

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

- English Upper intermediate: B2
- Knowledge and/or experience with activities in area of internal and external communication
- Financial literacy
- Manage team of up to 10 people directly
- Budget size responsibility
- No of served customers – all TSSK employees.
