Job description, responsibilities and duties

General description / Purpose
- Establish and maintain relationships with counterparts and other stakeholders for effective communication.
- Develop people in own group to be able to deliver agreed quality.
- Continuously improve services in own area, propose improvements in related areas and implement improvements initiatives.
- Operationally manage critical situations and solve business-as-usual escalations to provide seamless operation and effective service to customers.
- Prepare and ensure outputs on an operative level in timely manner and respective quality.
- Optimization of individual working methods and maintain records and systems.
- Suggestions for process improvements in are of his/her responsibility.
- Communicate with the internal / external customers on operative level.
- Independent approach in data input analyses and compose service deliverables.

- Preparing Standard Analyses in Excel
- Preparing of mass data changes (Cost Centers, Work Breakdown Structure)
- Mass data checks, control of changes on master data
- Coordinates and controls delivery of services according to business requirements.
- Guide, coach and train group members to ensure defined quality
- Perform operational controlling tasks in medium complexity
- Process control in the respective business environment
- Coordination of relevant closing processes for specific business areas
- Activities in the monthly closing process by taking into account continual service improvement
- Maintain internal standards, processes and routines based on group requirements

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2) and German - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

- University education (Bachelor’s degree) in Business Administration / Economics (ideally with focus on subject matter)

- Minimum 2 years’ experience in respective fields

- Good knowledge of German (B2) and English (B2)

- Knowledge of Finance and Controlling processes and procedures is a benefit
- SAP user skills advanced
- IFRS knowledge in related field
- MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Access) – expert level
- Ability to take over the responsibility for leading operation process within the group
- Very good communication and soft skills
- Ability to work autonomously and independently
