Generic accountabilities:
• In the role of the SAP HANA architect you take over the professional and technical responsibility for the consulting, Conception and realization of SAP IT landscapes based on the SAP HANA platform in national and international projects. In close cooperation with the project manager and his partners on the customer side
• You are responsible for the conception, the design and the construction of innovative SAP landscapes on technical and professional architectural levels.
In doing so, you perform the following tasks:
• Requirements analysis and technical concepts for SAP HANA and SAP S / 4 HANA system landscapes considering necessary release changes / upgrades, database migration and installation of the required SAP S / 4 HANA innovations as well as consulting with the customer
• Technical (sub) project management regarding SAP HANA architectures for comprehensive consulting and consulting implementation projects
• Autonomous assessment of feasibility and effort, development of solution strategies too technical, technical and organizational risks and their coordination
• Conception and design of SAP systems as well as optimization of existing SAP application landscapes
• Development of solution strategies for technical, functional and organizational risks as well as their poll
• Preparation and implementation of consulting workshops, participation in the preparation of offers
• Methodical and professional coaching in the implementation of projects
• Development and definition of technical standardization (eg integration guidelines)

• Completed studies as a computer scientist, business informatics or in a comparable field of study

Personality requirements and skills

• Excellent know-how in the assessment of complex SAP system landscapes of large international ones Company and in the creation of the necessary blueprints.
• Very good understanding about the different options for the application of SAP HANA (HANA for SAP BW, HANA for ERP) and SAPVery good understanding of SAP BW architectures
• Migration to SAP HANA and SAP S / 4 HANA
• Very good understanding of SAP HANA and SAP S / 4 HANA architecture both on premise and as Cloud architecture
• Good knowledge of components and tools:
• Practical experience in the application of upgrade and migration tools, such as SAP DMO (Database Migration Option) and SAP SUM (Software Update Manager)
• Good knowledge of SAP Solution Manager
• Knowledge of SAP correction and transportation
• Basic knowledge of ABAP and JAVA
• Certification as SAP Technical Consultant and ideally also in SAP HANA Installation & Administration and SAP HANA migration (e.g., Technology Associate - SAP HANA and / or S / 4HANA 1610 Certification)
• Ideally experience working with offshore partners
• Exceptional analytical skills to identify and assess technical and financial risks
• Strong communication, presentation and presentation skills
• Very good knowledge of German and English in spoken and written; another foreign language is desirable
• Willingness to travel - national / international
