Job description, responsibilities and duties
He / she takes full responsibility for all financial processes in Slovakia, mainly ensuring reliable financial reporting and timely monthly closing, supporting business with analysis and projections, cooperation with an outsourced accountant processes partner. Member of Country management team. The position fits for a finance professional who likes challenges, a manager who is able to push through process changes, a leader who is able to secure efficient cooperation with a third party and a business partner who understands that the main role of a finance leader is to support business. • Monthly closing in cooperation with an outsourced accountant process partner
• Financial reporting, compliance reporting and statutory reporting
• Budgeting, planning, OPEX / CAPEX planning, cash-flow, forecasting, regular and ad-hoc analysis
• Risk identification, proposing and implementing process changes to achieve “no surprise” culture
• Prepare cost and pricing models and thus play an active role in new business development
• Act as a key contact partner for banks, auditors, tax advisors and state authorities
• Business partnership for the local management colleagues, cooperation with the company regional hub finance peers
• Manage a small local team

Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience with focus on finance (finance management, controlling, accounting) gained in international corporation
• Very good overview of accounting, tax regulations and other relevant laws
• University education
• Familiar with US GAAP or IFRS and further with SOX
• Familiar with MS Office, mainly Excel; experience with Exact or Hyperion of advantage
• Team management experience or potential
• Communicative person with leadership skills and hands on approach
• Able to understand business needs, having broader business sense, innovative
• Organized with ability to work under strict timelines
• Native Slovak, very good English
