Automation Engineer / PLC Programmer

• You design and program automated systems, including PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems in compliance with IEC61131 (TIA Portal, WinCC Advanced, PROFIsafe)
• You prepare PLC software projects according to process function and electrical wiring
• You lead the PLC commissioning and cooperate with the robot programmers at the plant start-up 
• You collaborate with cross-functional teams, including industrial IT, mechanical and electrical engineers. You consult and implement the PLC-Robot interface to the application devices (scanners, vision, etc.)
• You analyze and evaluate existing systems to identify areas for improvement and optimization. You can utilize you creativity and initiative to improve the system.
• You develop and implement new control strategies to increase efficiency and reduce downtime.
• You troubleshoot and diagnose issues with automated systems
  

On a typical day, you will spend your time designing and testing control systems, programming PLCs, creating HMI interface, DB procedures and diagnosing, troubleshooting issues with automation equipment.
