Medior Software Development Engineer/HADOOP

We are looking for an SQL and Oracle software developer engineer to join the technology team providing development, implementation and support of Hadoop and data for CE Tesco, who would help ensure the operation and support of our Hadoop and related processes.

The team has a wide scope, and we will welcome a proactive junior with a desire to grow, with a focus on Hadoop management and data architecture management.

WHAT YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO:

MUST HAVE:

• SQL
• Basic knowledge of LINUX
• Basic knowledge of Python or Scala
• Knowledge of Git SCM
• Analytical skills
• Ability to work in the DevOps model (support of developed code, error correction and issue resolution)
• Advanced level English – spoken/written

NICE TO HAVE:

• Hadoop or S3/Ceph
• CI/CD (continuous integration, continuous delivery and/or continuous deployment
• Hive
• Spark SQL
• Docker or Kubernetes
• Apache Druid
• Kafka
