IT PRODUCT MANAGER (Hybrid)

We are looking for an ITProduct Manager to join the technology team providing development, implementation and support of the Data Warehouse and data for CE Tesco, who would help ensure the operation and support of our Data Warehouse and ETL processes.

Product manager will cooperate with Engineering team and Lead Technical Programme Manager responsible for WAM (Datawarehouse) and S3/Hadoop CE. WAM is one of our Tesco Analytical Platforms which contains data from CE systems. WAM CE is the main DWH able to be providing aggregated data across CE markets and to UK/India for analytical reporting and partially for operational reporting. Engineering team is also covering support of data ingest to S3/Hadoop CE which is an other very important Tesco Analytical Platform in CE for Big Data. Team is cooperating with various CE teams across our business (Finance, SC, SRD, Product, Commercial etc.) and with several teams situated in UK/India and with government offices and 3rd party partners.

Experience we would like to see

• 3+ years of experience in managing products in an Agile environment
• Knowledge of product management practices and methodologies and strong technical knowledge
• Experience in developing development plans: strategy, defining and prioritizing
• Experience with self-service systems or other systems such as CRM, ERP, MSP
• Having the technical competencies to influence and understand the context of the solution and approach, and to help engineers estimate the complexity of the work required

Skills relevant for the job

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, great presentation, 'storytelling' and persuasion skills (English)
• Interpersonal and cooperation skills with other team members and various internal stakeholders (respect, trust, empathy)
• Ability to communicate messages simply and concisely
• Methodical and analytical approach

• Engineering Education
• Good expertise in functional analysis/large linked domain
• Big data product experience
