System engineer (SW tester - test automation)

We are looking for a Software test engineer to a technology team responsible for test environment maintenance and test automation.

About the role:

- You'll be responsible for development of automated tests
- Participation in issue analysis
- Provide support for the entrusted area

Responsibilities for Automated testing area:

- Create, maintain and monitor automated tests

- Learn and follow best practices to ensure stable and reliable tests

- Provide assistance to other technology teams (test requesters)

- Participate on daily routines - monitor test case executions and investigate failures, monitor test environment and report issues

- Participate in the evolution and improvement of the Testing Automation platform

Responsibilities for Test environment area:

- Ensure availability of non-production environment

- Monitor the status of the non-production environment

- Analyze issues related to the environment

- Report them and collaborate with application teams (primarily in English) to resolve these issues

What will you need:

- Strong Logical Thinking and Analytical Skills

- Experience with testing (knowledge of automated testing or familiarity with the GUI testing automation tool is an advantage)

- Understanding of SW development specifics

- General overview of IT technologies and platforms

- A good knowledge of SQL

- At least basic knowledge of programming

- Technical education (secondary school) or relevant technical experience in IT

- Effective Communication Skills

- Strong Team Spirit

- A Motivation to Continuously Learn and Develop

- Proficiency in English (at least at an intermediate level)

- Proficiency in Czech (at least at an intermediate level)

The job requires to be based in/close to Prague, we work in hybrid mode.
