Job description, responsibilities and duties

As Business Consultant and Application Manager for our Procurement Department you will be supporting our business application as part of our Information Systems Management Team.

Realization and coordination of software projects, including planning, implementation and follow-up.
Analysis and optimization of business processes in the course of application support in cooperation with the departments.
Implement processes in the existing application landscape
Interface management between internal departments, external service providers and software vendors.
Collaboration in error analysis and correction in existing applications as well as continuous improvement of the system landscape.
Training and support of users in the use of the applications.
Documentation of the applications and the changes made.

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

Follow-up/Higher Professional Education
University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)
Postgraduate (Doctorate)

Language skills

English - Advanced (C1)

Personality requirements and skills

Experience in IT project management as well as in applications such as our Procurement modules in ERP System (ideally IFS)
Fluent in English is a must (C1), Slovak and German are an advantage
Willingness to travel 15 - 20% of the time, predominantly to Germany
Alternatively, experience in a procurement department of a machine manufacturer
Experience in error analysis and debugging as well as in dealing with databases and programming languages advantageous
Knowledge in process analysis and optimization
Ability to work independently, high problem-solving skills and analytical thinking
Communication skills and enjoyment of cross-company cooperation in the team
Completed degree in computer science, business informatics, business administration / economics or a comparable qualification
