JIRA System Administrator (m/f/d)

Due to our sustainable growth we are looking for an experienced JIRA System Administrator to further develop our Atlassian tool suite.

Your Tasks

  • Configure, maintain and upgrade our on premises JIRA/JIRA Service Desk system including best-in-class Atlassian apps/plugins (e.g. Portfolio for Jira, Structure, EazyBI, Scriptrunner, Insight)
  • JIRA in the context of Confluence/Bitbucket Server
  • Understand business processes and work continuously with internal stakeholders to determine and design ways to improve our JIRA Service Desk system setup and challenging workflows.
  • Support the development of interfaces between external tooling and Jira
  • Atlassian Plugin Development based on Java
  • Provide end user coaching, training and support

Your Profile

  • 2+ years of supporting and administering Jira
  • Excellent JQL experience would be an advantage
  • Familiarity with source code repository Github and automation service Jenkins
  • Experience with scripting and programming such as Python
  • Experience using and extending REST API using Java
  • Previous experienced with Agile – Scrum and Kanban methodologies
  • Strong problem solving and good communication skills
  • Self-motivated personality with the ability to work independently
  • Very good English skills, knowledge of German language would be a plus

Your performance is remunerated with an attractive and market-compliant salary. The position is subject to the Collective Agreement for Employees in the Metal Trade (Kollektivvertrag für Angestellte Metallgewerbe) and we provide a minimum salary of 40,000.- Euro gross per year. Naturally, we offer an overpayment based on your previous experience and qualifications.
