Job Description

The Field Service Representative (FSR) will take guidance from Account Manager and will do service on site, regular equipment maintenance, recommend changes, report and communicate with customer representatives on chemical treatment performance in accordance with the commercial agreement. FSR responsible to ensure safety, efficiently and compliance within a defined group of customer accounts, establishing contacts with new customers, building and maintaining relation with both new and current customers, preparation and implementation of chemical treatment programs, preparation and implementation of service plans in order to properly execute applied treatment programs. Job may require frequent travel to the serviced region.

Other activities may be assigned to the FSR based on experience, development & business needs.

Field Service Representative will report to Field Service Leader CEE.

Tasks and responsibilities

  • EHS compliance
  • On site analysis and measurements
  • Equipment Start up, Commissioning, Maintenance
  • Site Surveys
  • Management of Repairs/Maintenance/warrantee
  • Contacts with customers
  • Develop costumer relationship
  • Ensure a service plan; optimize the service activities to maximize productivity and profitability, KPI’s
  • Report any concerns to FSR Leader, Account manager, Area Manager: compliance, performance, relationship, scope creep such as additional visits or customer requests
  • Project co-ordination
  • Customer reporting/Data processing, ensure customer records are maintained
  • Support for costing of contracts
  • First line trouble shooting
  • Technical training
  • Contractor supervision if required
  • Participation in Piloting and Field trials when required
  • Servicing of Chemical Accounts
  • Mechanical and practical maintenance of chemical dosing pumps and digital tools
  • Manage spare parts continuously available on stock, arrange ordering processes
  • Frequent travel, flights, outside of the geographic area when needed
  • Active participation in regular customer meetings and annual business reporting
  • Participating in the local team meetings to share and present best practices

Personality requirements and skills

Qualifications

Required education and experience

  • Degree in Engineering (chemical, environmental or mechanical); or technical degree with relevant field experience
  • Have work experience through an industrial placement in an oil refinery, chemical or petrochemical production plant
  • Experience in process technology in Oil & Gas downstream or in chemical industry
  • Experience in laboratory technologies, water analysis is a plus
  • Understand customer needs

  • Communicate effectively in English and Slovakian, Hungarian is a plus
