Job description, responsibilities and duties

Regional Logistics Manager
Responsibilities:
• Maintains focus on logistics and procurement KPI’s in each plant
• Defines the division logistics plant and strategy
• Provides support to plants for improvement projects (make or buy, benchmark, flat storage, production planning, warehouse management, …)
• In relation with Purchasing, develops collaborative approaches with suppliers to improve service levels while reducing costs and inventory levels
• Promotes safety culture in its area of responsibilities
• Participates to the definition of supply-chain schemes for new projects and new green-field plants within the division
• Leads division logistics meetings, exchange of best practices, benchmark
We expect you to have the following qualifications:
• Suitable education
• Senior prorile - Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management position – experience from automotive area is a must have
• Very good influencing and negotiation skills
• Strategic thinking
• Proven track record of problem solving
• Ability to work under pressure
• Coaching skills are an advantage
• Highly motivated, proactive and collaborative way of working
• Fluent spoken and written Slovak/Czech, as well as English language skills
