Information about the position
Job description, responsibilities and duties
Looking for an experienced quality engineer who will be:
-responsible person in case of customer complaints which are followed up according 8D methodology. He or she is the first customer contact for quality related complaints, questions, demands.
-responsible for the supplier complaints and the further follow up until the end.
plans and follows up the work of the quality inspectors.
-gathers information and is responsible for the analysis related to scrap, first pass yield, process audits, daily Q-rounds and sets up the appropriate corrective actions.
-together with the engineering department, he or she works out proposals for technical improvements.
-has the final decision related to quality issues, takes the lead in the daily quality meeting.

Education and competence:
-technical degree is an advantage
-knowledge of measuring techniques
-knowledge of quality techniques (8D reporting, 5-WHY, ISHIKAWA, FMEA, SPC,…)
-experience in a production plant at similar position
-able to communicate in English
-ability to travel from time to time.
