Finance Operations (FinOps) is one of the largest captive Business Service organizations on Earth. We deliver finance technology solutions, corporate facilities, procurement services and transactional finance to Amazon. We are international, spreading across 28 countries in the Americas, Asia, Europe, and the Middle East.
Amazon seeks a Finance Manager to play a key role in Finance Operations Accounting and Analysis (FOAA) out of Bratislava. In this role you will partner closely with the EU Directors of Finance Operations and their leadership team on a European level.
This is an exciting opportunity to drive business critical Accounts Receivables analysis for Amazon’s retail business in EU. On top of this you will represent FOAA for retail accounts receivables in international projects, for example new business launches, and offer accounting consulting. Your expertise in accounting analysis and project management will provide important intelligence to review financial statements and enable scalable business launches.

· BA/BS degree in Finance, Accounting, Business and/or similar discipline with accounting and analytical bias;
· Proven familiarity with concepts of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles;
· 7+ years of accounting or related analytical experience;
· Strong English language written and oral communication skills with an ability to concisely summarize relevant data and convey results by effectively articulating complex messages;
· Advanced analytical skills and demonstrated ability to meet deadlines while managing multiple projects in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment;
· Advanced Excel user.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
· Master’s degree and/or Professional certification (CPA/Qualified Accounting certificate) + relevant experience;
· Good understanding of accounts receivables process flows and how to transfer such processes in an accounting framework;
· Independent and entrepreneurial attitude showing the ability to work with minimal direction.
