Job description, responsibilities and duties
Amazon is seeking a Controllership Manager to support the Finance Services Operations Controllership processes at Amazon. We’re looking for a someone who can take lead in identifying the risks in hundreds of different processes and applications related to multiple Amazon businesses globally. This individual will ensure Amazon's Finance Operations processes stay ahead of risks associated with growth in areas of process design, internal control effectiveness, computer system integration, and other relevant areas.
Successful candidate must be eager to dive deep into processes and have a proven record of delivering process efficiency results. The preferred candidate will have outstanding auditing skills, problem solving skills, systems and process knowledge, and customer service passion.
· Perform risk assessment of the services and functions within AP and AR
· Evaluate control effectiveness for FinOps Services
· Partner with FinOps Services to improve in process controls
· Evaluate and approve process exceptions
· Provide trainings that improve and raise the bar on controllership with respect to policies and other requirements
· Support external regulatory and statutory auditors with information requirements

Personality requirements and skills
· Bachelor degree in accounting/finance, or related field with a Professional Certification (CPA, CIA ,PMP etc.)
· 3+ years of relevant finance/accounting experience
· 7+ Years of relevant Experience in Internal Audit and Risk Management
· 1+ years of experience on analytics and use of analytics and GRC platforms
· 3+ years of relevant finance/accounting experience
· 7+ Years of relevant Experience in Internal Audit and Risk Management
· 1+ years of experience on analytics and use of analytics and GRC platforms
