Job description, responsibilities and duties

We are looking for a Finance Specialist to join our team focusing on vendor theft investigation and prevention. Our goal is the detection and prevention of vendor theft and we are contributing to a global AP Fraud team, led from Seattle. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, has excellent problem-solving and analytical skills and is always driving for solutions, without compromising accuracy. The candidate needs to have excellent prioritization, communication and organization skills and is able to work independently.

As a Finance Specialist for Theft investigation and prevention, you will dive deep into vendor and invoice data, in order to identify vendor theft and to exclude other root causes. You will play a key part in understanding, analyzing and improving the different detection reports and support to build a robust logic to identify theft scenarios in the current process. You will be involved in vendor theft investigations and closely cooperate with other teams, like Loss Prevention or Retail.

Responsibilities:

· Perform root cause analyses on vendor and invoice level
· Identify, analyze and resolve issues related primarily to Purchase Quantity Variances in order to identify potential theft in the supply chain
· Support creating a robust detection process by improving the different input reports and look for ways to automate process steps
· Support theft investigations with data analyses and reporting
· Contribute to metrics and reporting
· Drive process standardization by documenting and auditing different process steps
· Interaction with internal stakeholders, mainly Loss Prevention and Retail
· Support with analytical work (reports, queries, investigation on tools and system – how can we utilize other input)
· Coordinate with global team members to conduct deep dives, walkthroughs and quality reviews of evidence to resolve complex problems
· Provide input to regular meetings like MBRs and QBRs (data and use cases)

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

· Bachelor’s degree
· Experience in Finance or Supply chain or Logistics or Loss Prevention
· Minimum of 2 years professional experience in the field (Finance, AP, AR, Supply Chain, Logistics, LP)
· Excellent language skills - English and another language (preferred: French, Italian, Spanish, Turkish, Arabic (C1/C2: written & spoken))
· Ability to communicate and present complex analysis/data clearly and concisely
· Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
· Experience in project management
· Analytical skills with the ability to get into the detail, while also seeing and understanding the bigger picture
· Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOK UP, HLOOK UP, filters, basic functions, tables)
· Experience in communication with external customers/suppliers
