Working hours: US working time (2pm-10pm EMEA hours)

Technically lead the design and install of network Telephony components in a mainly Cisco vendor environment. Perform testing and complete all required documentation required to move devices in to service.

Roles and Responsibilities:

The following list specifies general roles and responsibilities of what is expected of the IPT Engineer. 1. Project Implementation. Carry out implementation of network projects assigned to you, using established processes, best practice principles and configuration against account standards in a timely and quality manner. Produce appropriate documentation and database entries to support project lifecycle and handover in to steady state operational service. Ensure all activities complete and signed off prior to 'go live' date for project. o Ensure day to day operation of the customer business is not impacted by network project changes. Create change approval requests and represent these in CAB meetings where required. Able to troubleshoot and configure issues related to projects such as Voice over IP, Extension mobility, CTI, Hunt Group, Soft Key Template, Phone Button Template and Voicemail. Attend and support customer meetings with the PM to provide technical options to address project challenges. Identify Risks as a result of network change activities. Support the PM and customer in working to mitigate these. Update AT&T operational teams with details of network changes. This will ensure any genuine fault conditions which occur are quickly established and acted upon. Take ownership of and resolve any complex network challenges related to IPT or the point the voice components interface with the network. Work with AT&T architects to ensure HLD and LLD designs are understood and implemented as intended. Engage with them for any unforeseen issues which arise affecting the project design and function. Incorporate the resolution to these in the technical designs and change plans. Apply network security principles to your implementations and check designs for compliance against Health Check Technical specifications. 2. Project Design. Carry out design work assigned to you, using standard methodologies and established processes. Validate all designs are in accordance with account architecture standards. Where architectural standards do not cover specific technical and functional needs, work with the AT&T IPT Architect to resolve. Create transition designs as and when needed throughout the project. Translate HLD designs into LLD and Configuration documentation.

Education and Qualifications:

Mandatory qualifications:- Cisco CCNA, CCNP Voice. 5 years experience working as Network engineer with IPT LAN, WAN, products o Desirable Qualifications:- CCNP, CCDP, CCNP Wireless, in addition to the mandatory ones above. network management products, ie. Smarts, Action, Voyance, Vitalnet. Have in depth technical knowledge and experience of Cisco IPT, LAN, WAN and Wireless products, and the activities required in order to install and interface voice products and services in to them for new and existing networks.

Additional Information:

For Slovakia: Salary from 2280 € brutto per month. Actual salary is likely to be higher based on skills, knowledge and experience.
