Project Planning Manager m/f

Your Responsibilities:

• Preparation and negotiation of the technical elements of quotations for projects (with a focus on electrification, battery development)
• Clarification and verification of feasibility of customer inquiries with Sales & Engineering
• Definition of the project approach ensuring the most favorable costs, and/or development of new project approaches to improve project efficiency (reduced production cost/higher customer benefit) and for tasks in the new engineering fields, such as battery, transmission, hybrid
• Project planning with a view to meeting customer requirements to the greatest possible extent (no over-engineering)
• Preparation of quotations (schedule, cost, bid text) and fine-tuning of bids with Sales & Engineering
• Presentation and discussion of quotations at customers' (in certain cases and in agreement with Sales)
• Contribution to the further development of processes and related tools

Your Profile:

• Mechanical engineering/engineering management/electrical engineering qualification acquired at a university of technology/university of applied sciences
• Several years of professional experience in engine and powertrain development
• Experience in project management and distribution an advantage
• Understanding of business management
• Excellent communication skills and confidence in dealing with customers
• Fluent spoken and written command of English
• MS Office (Word, Excel, MS Project, VBA knowledge an advantage)

Annual Remuneration: Due to the Austrian Equal Treatment Act we are obligated to state the intended annual gross remuneration (full-time) for this position as a basis for negotiation: EUR 50.000,--. We will, in any case, offer market-conforming payment taking qualifications and professional experience into account.
