Job description, responsibilities and duties

Become a member of Business Process Optimization and help us with operational business processes, strategic targets and operating model together with Overseas Corporate Product Management.

Core of your responsibilities would be creating designs and procedures for blocks of the Overseas Operating Model, definition of KPI, implementation and continuous optimization of digitalization and automation initiatives.

As a Business Process Optimization Manager you will work collaboratively together with Corporate Product Management and IT departments

What would you do:

• Design group processes and define group procedures for Airfreight and Sea freight
• Constantly searching for possibilities for productivity improvements
• Analyze global business processes
• Evaluate business cases for process improvements
• Connect Airlines/Carriers/Global Intermediaries
• Define KPIs for process effectiveness
• Manage demands from the business, structure and prioritize the demands and formulate the demands towards IT
• Lead digitization and automation initiatives with external business partners
• Collaborate strongly with all areas involved in ensuring operational excellence ( IT, Sales, Product, etc. )

What we are looking for:

• Industry experience ( or similar field ) 3 years+
• Knowledge and experience in working in operational and/or process functions within the freight forwarding industry ( Air and/or Sea ) / academic back-round or consulting company
• Overall understanding of business processes
• Strong communication and organizational skills (ability to prioritize, plan, assign and control)
• Ability for systematic and rational analysis to identify the root cause of problems
• Proactive and eager to drive permanent optimization
• Fluent in English ( written and spoken )
