Job description, responsibilities and duties
What you can expect
- be responsible for development of credit risk models (Statistical Modelling, Regression Analysis) for all banks within Erste Group Bank (mother company to Česká Spořitelna) in a competence center based in Prague
- preparation of data for modelling, statistical modelling itself, interpretation of results and documentation of the model
- discusses models, methodologies and data quality and process related issues with analytical teams in The Czech Republic, Austria, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, Croatia, Serbia, Slovenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Republic of Macedonia
- participation in improvements and innovations in credit risk models
- participation in ad-hoc analyses and interprets its results
What we expect
- undergraduate degree in a technical discipline (e.g. Mathematics, Engineering, IT)
- mathematical thinking and the ability to apply mathematical models to real life situations
- experience with using statistical software (e.g. SAS, R, STATA, SPSS etc.)
- experience with database programming or file management systems (e.g. SQL, Oracle, Hadoop etc.) and typing software LaTeX is an advantage
- communication level of English
- creativity, people skills and professional attitude to work
