General description

Senior Software Solution Designer for application development is responsible for end to end solutions for customer’s demand with respect to different options on market, available internal systems, and Deutsche Telekom standards. Holder of the position is responsible to be part of the scrum team as the highest priority to drive business in order to bring value for customer.


Key accountabilities

Senior Software Solution Designer is involved in the architecture approach, design, technical assessments and configuration and integration in PEGA.
Senior Software Solution Designer has an in-depth knowledge and experience with PEGA, BPM, Java/JEE application, Web Services.

- Support business and solution architecture concept discussions
- Work on the architecture approach and design for the project
- Create demo’s for the Product Owner
- Work with project and development managers to define the scope and develop plans for the architecture and other technical deliverables related to the project
- Work on the technology / tool evaluation, proof of concept and prototypes to support architecture decisions
- Analyze business requirements and translate those requirements into customized solutions using the PEGA platform
- Design and build HR processes in the PEGA platform
- Integrate and exchange source system data into the PEGA platform
- Perform unit tests using PEGA OOTB features based on the design provided by the Lead System Architect
- Support the transition to the productive application

Other criteria or requirements:

- At least 6 month experience with the PEGA - -Systems software, frameworks, and functional design
- Hold the CSA (Certified System Architect) certification
- Knowledge of SOA and BPM concepts, solid understanding and hands-on technical experience with PEGA, both as Business Process Manager (BPM)
- Understanding of Agile methodology, Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
- Sound knowledge of Java/JEE, REST, Oracle welcome
- Experience with solution architecture in a Agile/DevOps environment welcome
- Strong technical and solution architecture design background
- Architecture and implementation experience with highly scalable and high throughput transactional systems
- Good problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills in English (German language skills welcome)
- BS/BA in computer science or an equivalent discipline
