Job description, responsibilities and duties
Role Purpose
Under supervision of the International Project Director, the Project Manager will:-
• Have the total responsibility for the successful execution of the assigned projects according to project schedule, specification and budget, in all phases.
• Be responsible for company processes and procedures being followed during the execution of the project, and also responsible for adherence to strict health and safety standards, and for ensuring that the project follows a process ensuring that the Company fulfils it legal commitments during the execution of the projects.
• Involve extensive internal and external communication with structured follow up, and it is expected that keep all internal stakeholders updated on the project execution and informed of expected future involvement and deliveries from their side.
Main Tasks
The Project Manager´s tasks are mainly but not limited to:-
• Form project team globally;
• Participate in final contract negotiations with clients;
• Preparation of Project Execution Plans;
• Preparation of project time schedules;
• Review and approval of project budgets;
• Lead project risk reviews;
• Participate in supplier selection and meetings with key suppliers;
• Sign off on all purchase orders related to the project;
• Make monthly project reports;
• Lead project meetings with clients;
• Initiate, lead and follow up on internal project meetings with all involved departments;
• Support sales projects with project management inputs;
• Participate in the development of company procedures as required related to project management.
The Project Manager will require working with different working cultures, but will be based on international and professional standards of corporate systems and behaviour.
The Project Manager will require working based in Katowice (Poland). Business travels to other offices of DP Group for project meeting or design, and to sub-suppliers’ factory would also be requested from time to time.
