Cloud Native C++ / Golang Developer

ESET is expanding its range of secure management technologies and migrating them to the next- generation cloud native platform. We are looking for a skilled C++ developer with a strong competency to work on cross-platform projects (Linux, Windows, Docker) and ability or will to learn Golang. We are a small dedicated team working with a modern tech stack (C++17, Golang, Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins, JIRA, Python3, gRPC). We work in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere, where everyone has the opportunity to take over responsibility quickly.

What we look for:

• Advanced skills in modern C++ (C++17 and beyond).
• Experience with at least one additional programming language and/or scripting (e.g. Golang, Java, Python, Bash) is a big plus.
• Experience with microservices (technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, Istio, Helm, NATS) is valuable.
• Any cloud experience (AWS, Google, Azure) is a plus.
• Experience working with large-scale distributed systems is valuable.
• Excellent troubleshooting and creative problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to quickly learn new technologies and new products.
• Experience in server programming and multithreading.

Responsibilities:

• Build features and capabilities to support the range of our secure management functionality.
• Build and maintain scalable microservices for handling millions of users' requests.
• Collaborate with other development teams, quality engineering team and documentation team to execute on product deliverables.
• Be part of an agile self-organizing team, which collectively defines the stack, architecture, development environment and best practices.
• Be creative and experiment with new solutions yet pragmatic and committed to code optimization, maintainability, and quality.
