Bring your experience of organising events and conferences to our Strategy, Communications and International Relations team?

Do you thrive in a busy international environment and enjoy the challenge of working in a complex, multi-lingual, high profile organisation? We are looking for someone who is comfortable providing administrative support in a fast-paced environment. Working with our Head of Division and his team, you will provide administrative and logistical support for our numerous international conferences, meetings and workshops. You will be responsible for monitoring and controlling our Document Management System and updating our intranet content. You will contribute to the success of our events by understanding the requirements of our team and international partners when organising events and conferences. This is a challenging and demanding role requiring a keen eye for detail and an ability to find solutions to deal with the unexpected and manage complex travel arrangements

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

Secondary with school-leaving examination

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2) and French - Intermediate (B1) and German - Intermediate (B1)

This is an international environment and you must have excellent communication and team working skills to deal tactfully with staff at all levels. You need to be multi-lingual as our working languages are English and French, and for this role you will also need a working knowledge of German. You need to be up to the challenge of working in an organisation which embraces cutting-edge science and technology. Needless to say, we want someone with an eye for detail and the ability to deliver high quality work to deadlines. You will bring your expertise in organising events and conferences, ideally involving international participants. Experience of using a website management tool would be an advantage.
