We are currently searching for Application Specialist to our Overarching Products & Services team to provide end-to-end coverage for our scope of applications. You will have a chance to handle our application management from start to end – you will take care of administration, new implementations and enhancements, consultancy to business and roll-outs to other countries. You have a great opportunity to provide valuable input to our global IT infrastructure and help us to improve our customer offerings over the coming years.

During Covid-19 the team operates in a “remote as the default” setup from 3 European locations – Heidelberg, Brno and Varna. After that, we will offer a hybrid working model that blends office and remote work all together.

Your will be your next challenge?
• You will be technical consultant for our Hdigital applications - currently we have 13 applications in our scope
• You will provide L3 support – maintenance, monitoring, issue investigating, troubleshooting, incident handling and communicate with vendors if needed
• You will lead or participate in projects, roll-outs or enhancements and ensure smooth transition into the live environment
• You will provide consultancy to the business on how they can fulfil business requirements using current applications and participate in the app testing

What will make you successful?
• Previous experience in application support (i.e. ERP systems, web and mobile applications, cloud solutions etc.) or IT infrastructure support
• Communicative English (written and spoken)
• Experience in any coding language (Java, C#,...) or database language (SQL,..) is a plus
• Pro-active mindset, good communication skills and willingness to learn
• Experience in archiving solutions (i.e. OpenText, Onbase) and related SAP is a plus
• Knowledge of ITIL methodology is a plus
• Experience in large enterprise environment is preferable
