Job description, responsibilities and duties

We are looking for a persuasive, personable and highly motivated campaign coordinator to join our team in Greenpeace Slovakia. We're looking for a change-maker; someone who can hit the ground running and play a pivotal role in the coordination and implementation of our priority campaigns. You will be responsible for the smooth running of projects, responding to external developments/opportunities, providing strategic creativity and, ultimately, helping our Program team ignite masses of people to act together to win a healthy planet.

You will be based at the Greenpeace Slovakia office in Bratislava with possible irregular travelling and field work. Hopefully, you will appreciate our flexible approach towards working hours and casual working environment.

Knowledge and experience of campaigning or community organizing
An understanding of campaign strategy and online/offline tactics
Excellent communication and organisation skills
Ability to make and maintain effective contacts and relationships
Ability to communicate effectively and appropriately with a wide range of people both verbally and in writing.
The ability able to make quick decisions in complex situations
A commitment to progressive values and peaceful non-violent direct action as a means of creating change.
An exceptional written and spoken English
