General Ledger / Junior Controller

Our client – an international company with its SSC located in Prague – is looking for experienced and independent Financial Accountant (General Ledger) with English language with potential to move to controlling role.

Your new role
The successful candidate will be responsible for running/overseeing all accounting tasks in IFRS for assigned entity. Produce regulatory financial reporting in accordance with local reporting standards as well as controlling activities. Ensure that the accounting outcomes provided to management and internal customers are at a professional level. Be the first point contact for issue resolution and for auditors.

What you'll need to succeed
The right candidate should have at least 2 years of experience in accounting, University Degree in Finance / Accounting and should be fluent in English language. Good experience in Microsoft Excel and high level of numerical and analytical skills also required. Working knowledge of US GAAP / IFRS is a must. Experience with controlling/forecasting/budgeting is not required.
