Scrum Master

Scrum Master is a challenging position, where the scrum master cares about the team functionality. Scrum Master is responsible for monitoring the scrum processes and scrum meetings. He or she increases team efficiency, motivates team, spins, argues for changes that will ensure quality and timeliness. He or she ensures the committed definition is being followed. Your squads will focus on transforming a Legacy Mainframe environment, PL1 coded, into more advanced and flexible technologies. We expect the the scrum master will closely cooperation with the DevOps team to establish DevOPs compliant squads.

Your tasks:
- Drive the Technical team and the Product Owners in an Agile development process
- Organize and facilitates Scrum practices such as stand-ups, release and sprint planning, reviews, demos and retrospectives
- Develop understanding of the overall software delivery life cycle and activities
- Assist in the adoption of Agile values, principles, methods, and practices
- Enable close cooperation across all roles and functions in particular identifying and removing team blockers
- Foster communication and productive relationships with project owners, team members and other stakeholders
- Assist team members in the understanding of how to work in a self-management and cross-functional team structure.
- Identify opportunities for process and tool improvements and drive those from concept to implementation
- Facilitate rapid iteration and creative problem solving
- Communicate clear information to ensure project teams understand strategy, plans and requirements and addresses the need for clarity
- Mitigate project risks and delivery related issues with oversight
- Guiding the team on self-organizing to fill in the intentional gaps left in the Agile/Scrum frameworks.
- Assessing the Scrum Maturity of the team and organization and coaching the team to higher levels of maturity, at a pace that is sustainable and comfortable for the team and organization.
- Removing impediments or guiding the team to remove impediments by finding the right personnel to remove the impediment.
- Building a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised without fear of blame, retribution, or being judged, with an emphasis on healing and problem-solving.
- Facilitating discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution.
- Assisting with internal and external communication, improving transparency, and radiating information.
- Providing all support to the team using a servant leadership style whenever possible, and leading by example.
