Job description, responsibilities and duties
For our client in Finland we are looking for experienced aircraft mechanics for aircraft maintenance of Finnair aircraft at Helsinki-Vantaa airport.
CF6, CFM56-5B and CFM56-7B Engine mechanic’s job requirements and main tasks:
- Engine maintenance, trouble shooting and repair at GATES engine shop and at customer facility
- Disassembly of engine modules
- Disassembly of engine parts from the modules
- Inspections of the parts removed from the engine/modules
- Dimensional inspections and serviceability determination of the removed parts
- Detailed teardown reporting
- Removal and installation of Line Replaceable Units
- Overhaul and repair of engine parts
- Balancing of rotating parts and sub-assemblies
- Chemical and mechanical removal of dirt/encrustation from engine parts
- Assembly of sub-modules and final assembly of the engine
- Manufacturing, modification and repair of tools needed in the engine maintenance process
- Previous experience and authorization/-s for modern jet engines

Employee perks, benefits
- For experienced mechanics monthly salary would be 2700 – 2800 euros (work in two shifts at the moment, evening hours + 2,70)
- Housing will be arranged nearby and depending on how the want to live price will be from 400€ up / month.
