Financial Accountant

For our client, an international company with an extensive network of warehouse and industrial real estate properties across Europe and Asia, we are looking for an independent Senior Financial Accountant.

Responsibilities:
- Work closely with HQ Finance team and the monitor local outsourced accounting company on the preparation of monthly and yearly financial statements
- Establish the local internal accounting procedure and implementation
Support the Asset Operations team with daily financial routine tasks
- Coordinate the Asset Operations team on service charge reconciliations
Issue monthly invoices of rent, service charge, public utilities, and perform AR reconciliation
- Manage AP invoices, allocate costs according to internal policy, prepare internal AP entries on a regular basis and process payment on proper procedure
- Monitor tax returns, VAT returns, RETT
- Other ad-hoc reports as required

Requirements:
- Relevant previous experience on a similar position at least 5 years
- Knowledge of the Slovak accounting standards and taxes
- Strong in building relationships with stakeholders
- Ability to identify priorities quickly and with good analytical skills
- Fluent in English and native Czech/Slovak is a must
