For our CAD team in Brande, we are looking for ambitious and enthusiastic design engineers to develop future transport, lifting and installation equipment for the next generations of offshore wind turbines.

You will join our New Product Engineering team in Offshore Equipment Engineering, which is responsible for designing all generic lifting, transport and installation equipment for our new Offshore turbines. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E02csOksyVY

How to contribute to our vision

You will contribute with 3D concept development, detailed design and design specifications. You will participate in FAT and SAT tests of equipment at suppliers and at preassembly sites. During the design you will be using design tools ex. Siemens PLM NX and Teamcenter, FMEA, Design Risk Assessment, Geometrical Product Specifications, Tolerance Stack up Analysis etc.

In the CAD role you will be working closely together with our calculation engineers (FE) and our Project managers. As part of our team, you will also be closely cooperating with the turbine development department, making sure all new turbine components can be transported, lifted and installed on time and on cost. We are also closely linked to the Sales & Execution organization which is responsible for all customer-, country- and harbor specific equipment.
The team is based in Brande/Denmark with cooperation partners and co-workers mainly based in Denmark and India.

What you need to make a difference

Passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change. The ideal candidate has CAD experience within structural components and experience within hydraulic systems - either practically and/or theoretically.

It is key that you are agile, innovative and a problem solver so you are able to drive forward the projects you are part of.
