Information about the position
Job description, responsibilities and duties
• Management and operation of Kubernetes clusters in Solargis premises; deployment, debugging and monitoring
• Deploy and automate infrastructure & platform services in public clouds using Infrastructure as code
• Collaborate with other technical teams to achieve well-designed, sustainable infrastructure, microservice solutions and efficient and robust production environment
• Develop tools, operators, and micro services in Nodejs, Python or Golang
• Automate tools to perform routine system administration tasks, systematically reduce manual work
• Monitor applications and services within their environments, take troubleshooting steps and implement strategies to prevent future issues

• University degree in IT or similar
• Knowledge of at least one compiled or interpreted language (Nodejs, Python or Golang preferred)
• Knowledge of DevOps / Understanding of the DevOps philosophy, Orchestration/Configuration Management and Continuous Integration technologies like terraform, GitLab, ansible, docker…
• Some experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native systems
• Basic knowledge of microservices, stateless services, API development and Message Brokers
• Basic knowledge of modern software architecture principles, distributed development, and modern software integration practices
• Basic experience with monitoring and service mesh are welcome
• Experience with developing applications for MacOS is welcome
