Job description, responsibilities and duties
We are looking for top talent to join our global IT team, based in Bratislava –Slovakia. If you are energetic, results-driven and want to be part of a team that grows our business and builds a strong IT support base, then please forward us your resume.
The Application Manager will focus purely on running the internal applications of SpecPage, applications of clients in SaaS environment and interfaces. Success in this role relies on being flexible with excellent knowledge on managing applications in MS WINDOWS environment.
You Will be responsible for:
• Managing all our internal applications and its interfaces on MS WINDOWS infrastructure in private datacenters under TIER4, including
o Virtual server enviroment
o several SQL servers
o MS Exchange and Office, ADS
o 3CX Telephony
o various desctop application (e.g. translation memory, help design, Adobe)
• Assuring technical support problem resolution related to networks, servers, desktops, database management software, operating systems, and/or business application software systems
• Performimng system administration activities, which includes coordinating and managing the purchasing, installation, and configuration of desktops, software and related application software upgrades
• Analyses, design and implementation of requirements to achieve required functionality of applications together with internal infrastructure
• Implement security and permission policies
• Responsible for quality and meeting deadlines when solving and implementing requirements put on infrastructure
• Helping with testing of implemented environments
• Plan and manage cooperation with external suppliers of IT solutions
• Oversight on routine workflow connected to managing existing solutions
• Giving consultation for users and coordinate solving of issues
