Technical Engineer

We are currently looking to hire a Technical Engineer based either in Prague or Bratislava.

Main objectives of the role :
As Technical Engineer you will be the specialist on the OES (Original Equipment Supplier) products and its OES customers. In this position you will be responsible for:
- Ensuring and improving customer satisfaction for the major OES by facilitating and supporting product related projects during product life cycle
- Driving product technical changes with the OES customers supported by the Business Units and R&D
- Supporting OES negotiations and technical projects

Responsibilities:
Strategic responsibilities:
- responsible for technical projects including change management or technological changes such as introducing new technologies or products at OES customer
Tactical responsibilities:
- Develop a full understanding of technology trends and communication with the support from OES Key Account Leader the changes to the OES customers
- Drive product changes to ensure quality, cost and availability of WABCO products during the whole product life cycle
Operational responsibilities:
- Collect customer requirements to steer Product Development, ISC and BU teams to comply with their specific regulations
- Search, gather, analyze and report information in order to implement efficiently the product changes
- Manage interfaces with other functions: Sales (OES), Product Development, Sourcing, Production
- Implement follow-up of actions

German - Intermediate (B1)

Your profile:
- Technical education; min. bachelor degree
- At least 3-5 years of professional experience in product marketing, product management or sales preferably in automotive industry
- Fluency in English and good knowledge of German language required
- Frequent travel (continental travel, around 40%) required
- Highly motivated individual with excellent communication, negotiation, influencing, and follow up skills
- Experience with project management in a cross-functional organization is a plus
- Excited about technology and how technology can change the world
