Job description, responsibilities and duties

•Act as single point of contact for employees and managers in people management agenda to help with any unresolved topics.
•Build a strong business relationship with managers and transfer HR requests and solutions to/from the business unit.
•Possess a deep knowledge of the operating area of the company, key employees and business processes in order to facilitate changes and HR processes.
•Advise managers in commended divisions on compensation matters and issues, personal matters and day to day employee relations problems.
•Consult and propose decisions in HR related topics in line with HR strategy, budget, internal policies and priorities of the business.
•Conduct Exit Interviews in order to capture the reasons and motivation behind the employment termination.
•Coordinate and execute recruitment process regarding preparation of internal and/or external postings, advertisements, websites, outside agencies, search firms, universities, campaigns, and any other source to recruit qualified candidates.
•Prescreen, interview, prepare job offers to internal and external candidates according to hiring plan, budget and within a preferred time range.
•Prepare, process and archive labor law documentation. maintain personal data in HR information system.
•Manage personal agenda of employees and ensure all the labour law processes and tasks related to onboarding and offboarding of the employees
•Lead, assist, or support HR projects,
•Assist in change management projects and manage HR related internal and external communications.
•Participate on talents and key-employees identification as well as identification employees ready for promotion, giving recommendation for employees further development.
•Lead and assist on organization of employer events.
•Analyze, suggest and implement employee benefit programs and administrate them

•Degree with emphasis in Human Resources, Psychology or Business Administration, or any other related field
•Minimum of 5 years of experience in similar position - proven experience in various HR areas of expertise

Brief description of the company

The beginnings of ESET date back to 1987, when two young programming enthusiasts, Peter Paško and Miroslav Trnka, wrote a program for the detection of one of the world’s first computer viruses. They did not know that they had created one of the most successful antivirus programs in the world – dubbing it NOD. In 1992, together with their mutual friend Rudolf Hrubý, they formally established ESET.

What started as the brainchild of a few friends has evolved into the most valuable international brand of any Slovak company. Today ESET’s NOD32 technology protects over 100 million users across the world.

This success did not come overnight. The company’s global success and growth was given a boost in 1998 with its first “VB100” award from the prestigious Virus Bulletin magazine. Since then, we’ve received this accolade more than 100 times.

Today, over 1,400 employees around the world drive the company’s success – a telling increase from 3 in 1987 and 135 in 2006. Almost 700 of them are based in Slovakia, the home of ESET headquarters.

Throughout the company’s expansion, we have stayed true to the principles on which we were founded, and we remain independent in order to continue to meet new challenges.
